Delegating Effectively
In this workshop, the participants will learn the three major components of assigning tasks and delegating effectively.
1. At what point does a task or responsibility need to be delegated?
2. Who needs to perform the task(s)?
3. What essential information needs to be provided to the team members?
The participants will learn how to use the process of delegating as a useful motivation tool. Delegation skills are important because the supervisors and team leaders learn to identify the right tasks to be performed at the right time and; with the right person. This process allows for better productivity for the team leader and the team.
Effective and responsible team leaders and supervisors are able to assign work and responsibilities with confidence. They are able to create a working atmosphere of cooperation by clearly communicating team member expectations and the tasks that need to be prioritized and performed.
