Giving and Receiving Effective Feedback

Feedback, if performed correctly, is a powerful tool that leads to individual personal growth and improved workplace skills and habits. The purpose of feedback is to:

  • maintain and improve desired behavior as well as to;
  • reduce or eliminate undesired behavior.

This workshop focuses on developing constructive feedback skills, as well as the effective use of the feedback communication planner as a method of giving and receiving feedback.

Feedback establishes an environment of trust and helps to improve employee morale and interpersonal relations between co-workers. Feedback also lets us know where we need to improve.

The participants will learn that the key to delivering constructive feedback is to focus on the behavior and never on the individual. Feedback is always objective and never personal.
